Arthur C. Clarke Dies

Arthur C. Clarke has died. He is best known for the movie 2001, Kubrick's adaptation of his short story "The Sentinel". Clarke proposed the idea of communication satellites in the 40s, years before anyone thought to make them a reality. I was a reader when I was a kid. He was my favorite of the Big Names (Clarke, Asimov, Heinlein). I haven't read anything of his in a long time, but I know he continues to sell. He was 90.
