The Democrats Finally Have A Winner
Last night Obama passed the threshold to gain enough delegates to be the nominee of the Democratic party. It wasn't easy. Clinton held on to the end and, even though she could not win the number needed to pass, she dealt some serious blows. She continued to win States right to the end and her supporters have made their feelings about Obama very clear. She was robbed and they blame Obama and the party. Can the party bring it together to beat the Republicans? There is some talk of a Obama-Clinton ticket; an attempt to win her supporters over. Would it work, or would it just add all her baggage to his campaign?
